If you’re determined to reduce the cost for your car insurance, there are some important things you need to know before you begin. Just follow these five tips and you will save money.
1. Make sure that you get enough quotes. The reason why this is important is because of the big price span. If you don’t compare quotes, then you run the risk of paying too much.

2. Another important consideration for finding the best auto insurance is to listen to other peoples experience. Why repeat other people’s mistake? It is much cheaper to listen to experience! Keep an open mind and do your homework.
3. You don’t have to spend weeks in order to find the right auto insurance. All you need is a few hours, and it will be well worth the effort.
4. Instead of complicating auto insurance efforts by starting up real sales people, try it this way: click on one of those “free quote” ad. In fact, if you do it this way, you will get your quote much quicker and with less effort than to spend time on the phone.
So if you really want to save on auto insurance, follow these tips and use the saved money for something good for you or your family!

I am renewing my auto insurance. I have a car with all kinds of great features like leather seats, upgraded stereo, sunroof, etc. Is there some way to insure it so if it gets totaled, I can buy a car of equal quality? Should I even get full coverage?
Thanks.
You need to get what’s called "Comprehensive" insurance and also what’s called "gap insurance" and that should cover it all.

I live in New Jersey where the auto insurance is relatively expensive. However, I go to college in South Carolina where the auto insurance is a lot cheaper than in New Jersey. How can I get the cheaper South Carolina auto insurance? Do I need a South Carolina driver’s license to do this? Should I buy a car from a South Carolina dealership?
You get insurance from the place where you live. If you are looking for the best auto insurance in your area, check out this site

My wife is annoyed at the fact as am I that first auto insurance is so damn high for women. Also we are annoyed at why they now want personal info like your date of birth and credit check. Why is it that it is this way? I think it is Stupid for credit checks always have.
Some places do not check your credit. Here’s the reasons they ask for and require the info depending on the company. Date of birth will classify the applicant in age groups that "show" how typical driver’s in that age range drive, how many accidents they have reported, as well as other driving habits. As far as the credit check goes, it’s because they want to see what type of payment history you have. If you have good credit, and pay on time, they will give you better rates sometimes. If you have poor credit, miss payments all the time, etc. They will most times not insure you. I myself am a Licensed Life Insurance Agent in the state of Ohio. We do not pull credit for life insurance, but our agents do for the property and casualty insurance.

only cover catastrophic loss.
Can you imagine what your auto insurance would cost if you made a claim every time you got a flat or a tune up ?
Or what your home owners insurance would cost if you made a claim every time a light bulb burned out or you wanted your carpet cleaned ?
Maybe that’s the reason medical insurance premiums are so high ?
autoinsurance.bebto.com - try this one. I have their car insurance and, as I know, they can provide such a service.

My auto insurance was cancelled as of December 3 due to nonpayment. I want to get insurance with a different company in the next week when I get my next paycheck, will the new company I sign up for know it has been lapsed for a few weeks? This is the first time I have ever let this happen so I have no idea what to expect.
Don’t drive in the meantime, besides being illegal, you could end up paying for an accident for years. Insurance companies don’t like to see lapses in coverage - it’s a sign of irresponsibility, so you will pay more because of that lapse.
